What is Nickel Alloy Flange?

Nickel Alloy Flanges are flanges made of Nickel Material and other metals, which are mainly used in high pressure, high temperature or corrosive environments in the chemical, petroleum, food processing and other industries. Basically this material flanges are also common in Nickel Machining Parts we process, Nickel alloy is widely used for its excellent corrosion resistance and good mechanical strength.
Nickel alloy flanges are usually made of the following nickel-based alloys:
ASTM B564 UNS N04400 Nickel Alloy Flange
1. Inconel alloy: this is an alloy containing nickel, chromium and iron with excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength.
2. Hastelloy alloys: these are a range of alloys containing nickel, molybdenum and other elements (e.g. chromium, iron) for applications in extreme corrosive conditions.
3. Monel alloys: the main components are nickel and copper, but also contains a small amount of iron and other elements, suitable for seawater and salt water and other environments.
4. Incoloy alloy: contains nickel, chromium, molybdenum and iron and is suitable for high temperature and corrosive media.
These types of flanges need to follow strict standards of workmanship during manufacture to ensure that their performance meets the needs of the particular application. For example, in the chemical industry, flanges that come into contact with strong acids or bases need to be highly corrosion-resistant, while in oil extraction, flanges may be required to withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures.
