What is Titanium Seamless Heat Exchanger Tube?

Titanium Tube Heat Exchanger is a common heat transfer equipment, the principle is to use the Titanium Tube as the heat transfer medium, through the convection heat transfer between the fluid in the tube outer surface and the inner lumen of the tube to realize the transfer of heat. The titanium tube in the picture is using this standard ASTM B338:2006, titanium tube as heat transfer medium has high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, suitable for a variety of liquid and gas heat transfer process. In the titanium tube heat exchanger, the transfer of heat energy is carried out by means of thermal convection. The fluid to be heated or cooled is injected into the titanium tube heat exchanger through the inlet pipe. When the hot fluid enters the interior of the titanium tube, the heat is quickly transferred to the inner wall of the tube and then through the wall to the outer surface of the tube due to the thermal conductivity of the titanium tube. Cold fluid is injected from the inlet at the other end of the titanium tube heat exchanger. The cold fluid forms a thin film of fluid on the outside surface of the tube, which contacts the outside surface of the tube, and absorbs the heat from the outside wall of the tube and takes away some of its own heat through thermal convection heat transfer. The hot and cold fluids flow continuously inside the titanium tube heat exchanger, maintaining a high velocity to increase heat transfer efficiency.

Titanium Material strength, pure titanium tensile strength of up to 180kg/mm2. some steel strength is higher than Titanium Alloy, but the specific strength of titanium alloy (tensile strength and density ratio) is more than high quality steel. In addition, titanium alloys have good heat-resistant strength, low-temperature toughness and fracture toughness.
